Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Job Purpose

Perform various training functions in support of the Douglasville Manufacturing Facility. This will include, but is not limited to implementing, and auditing training programs for all positions within facility; assisting managers and supervisors with employee training on various shifts; and staying up to date on current training practices.

Essential Functions
  • Help implement and manage individualized and group training programs to drive value to the customer, increase employee retention, and maintain employee morale.
  • Identify and assess training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.
  • Assist with implementation of training manuals and purposeful training methods.
  • Assist with the Implementation of effective and purposeful training methods.
  • Audit training documentation on a regular basis to ensure compliance.
  • Assist front line leaders with the assessment of employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
  • Help train key trainers for each position.
  • Assist with contractor and vendor training to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure training documentation is received on time for compliance.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating training records.
  • Have a solid understanding of Baking and Food Science.
  • Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with training systems including Alchemy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as contractors and vendors.
  • Good written and communication skills necessary.
  • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
