Overview

Position Summary... What you ll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback. Tour-to-Teach, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.

Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives including community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs and issues are resolved, and developing action plans to improve processes and the customer experience.

Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses, ensuring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes support sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training and mentoring, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.

Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, communicating goals and objectives, tracking progress, identifying improvement opportunities and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission and values, and upholds ethics and integrity through Open Door guidance and applying these in business processes.

Respects the individual, builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
