Position Summary:
This role involves leading and developing teams, supervising store operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The manager will guide associates, implement business initiatives, and maintain compliance with company policies.
What you’ll do:
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tour-to-Teach style communication and collaboration across all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts and provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs and complaints are resolved, develops and implements action plans, and provides process improvement leadership.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area through analysis of PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control. Supports merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset, meeting staffing needs, and achieving company growth.
Coordinates job-related activities, maintains stakeholder relationships, supports plans and initiatives, builds accountability, measures progress, and identifies improvement opportunities.

Compensation:
Annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) or Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges). This job may have additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state specific requirements, current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
