Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a school van to transport scholars to and from school.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting scholars with boarding, and disembarking.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including regular cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a bus driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, or similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
  • Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, and afternoons, as needed
