Truck Driver CDL B

Position Description

A Class A CDL Truck Driver in Douglasville, GA responsible for delivering freight to GA and Knoxville, TN. Driver will handle a 26’ straight truck, manual transmission, and operate loft gate, pallet jack, and dolly.

• Weekly pay, starting at $950/ week
• Solo miles pay: $0.508 per mile (≈2,200 miles/week)
• Solo stops pay: $15.53 per stop (≈30 stops/week)
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 4:30 AM – 6:00 AM

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A or B experience in tractor‑trailer (or comparable vehicle)
• Experience:
  
  9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/ or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies
