Overview

Vehicle Technician required in Dover, Kent. Independent garage with Bosch training provided. Based between Canterbury and Dover. Circa £40,000 basic salary, negotiable dependent on experience.

• Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
• Conducting vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance
• Carrying out complex vehicle repairs as required
• Using Bosch and dealer-level diagnostic equipment and tools
• Completing service records and documentation accurately
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image

• Minimum qualification of City & Guilds AVCE, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Own toolkit sufficient to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
