Summer Staff Accountant Intern

Novogradac is hiring Staff Accountant Interns for a summer 2027 internship program (June—July 2027).

This internship program exposes students to the work of a national CPA firm. Interns will participate in audit, tax, and research assignments, gaining hands‑on experience and learning how our firm supports clients.

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements under the direction of a supervisor or manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business‑specific research, gather data, analyze results, compile reports, and make recommendations to principals and partners.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow‑through.
• Assist with projects and duties as assigned.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (degree earned is a plus).
• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course; preferably qualified to sit for the CPA exam.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate, detail‑oriented work with strong organization and follow‑through.
• Ability to work under close supervision and adapt to constructive feedback.
• Ability to collaborate and foster a team‑oriented environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
