Are you organized, detail‑oriented, and someone who enjoys keeping things accurate and moving behind the scenes? Keystone Funding is seeking a Mortgage Finance Assistant to support the day‑to‑day accounting and operational functions of a fast‑paced mortgage company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative and financial tasks, takes initiative without being asked, and is eager to learn and grow within the business.

You do not need years of accounting or mortgage experience to succeed here. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and highly organized who takes pride in getting the details right.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $40,000 – $47,000 (based on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance‑based, per company policy
  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k): Company match
Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
  • Process daily deposits and assist with account tracking
  • Prepare and cut checks for vendors and operational expenses
  • Support bookkeeping and accounting administrative functions
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and internal documentation
  • Assist with reconciling invoices and financial information
  • Communicate with vendors, team members, and internal departments
  • Help improve processes and keep operations running efficiently
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through consistently
Qualifications
  • Mortgage or banking experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with good time‑management skills
  • Comfortable handling repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Takes initiative and looks for ways to help without being asked
  • Strong communication and follow‑up skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Previous administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience is a plus
