Job Goal: The incumbent performs general administrative support functions for the summer program for which they are assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be available to work as needed on short notice.
  • Knowledge of general office management, procedures and business machine operation.
  • Outstanding customer service, multi-tasking, time management, organization, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and interact professionally with others.
  • Proficiency in data entry, filing, and document processing; familiarity with MS Office Suite of Applications and/or school or department automated systems.
  • Work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, use good judgment, follow through on assigned tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Perform secretarial duties such as answering the phone, directing calls or taking messages and responding to email inquiries.
  • Greet and assist public, staff and students.
  • Maintain an organized office and protect sensitive and confidential information.
  • Prepare and distribute written or typed correspondence.
  • Access, retrieve and file documents according to established systems.
  • Sort and distribute mail; prepare and distribute mass communications.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and accept deliveries.
  • Perform data entry assignments.
