About the role

Location:

Dover, DE. Provide support and service to clients by receiving and processing orders related to corporate public record filings and document retrieval.
Full‑time, in‑office 9am‑6pm EST, Monday‑Friday.

What you will do
  • Communicate with clients, coworkers, correspondents, jurisdiction employees, and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
  • Regular, late coverage in the Delaware office for direct, online access to utilize the state filing system.
  • Utilize systems to “build” transactions and release various portions of the order to coworkers, correspondents, or state/county offices for processing.
  • Access public record websites to file and retrieve publicly recorded documents.
  • Review, prepare, and submit filings, paying close attention to rules and regulations.
  • Generate proposals for clients, including fees and turnaround expectations.
  • Maintain clear records throughout transactions to ensure accurate results and invoicing.
Who you are
  • Experience: Direct and relevant industry experience in nationwide corporate transactions, including formation, qualification, merger, conversion, amendment, withdraw, and dissolution filings. Familiar with the Delaware Corporate Information System (“DCIS”).
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in corporate public record filings and document retrieval.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to multi‑task and prioritize projects/assignments. Strong attention to detail and a reasonable sense of urgency when processing orders to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with clients, coworkers, correspondents, and others.
  • Adaptable: Eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. Can adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast‑paced and high‑stress environment. Strong problem‑solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Coachable: Ability to retain and implement instruction and training. Open to learn and navigate current processes and systems. Not afraid to ask questions.
  • Positive attitude: Demonstrates a positive attitude. Courteous and polite, especially when navigating difficult conversations, problems, or complaints that may arise.
  • Team player: Can work in both a team and independent setting. Fosters support and dependability towards peers while getting individual tasks done within time constraints.
  • Reliable: Can work during regular business hours in the Dover office. Punctual, follows assigned schedule. Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
  • Technical competencies: Comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents.
  • Office environment: Able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and work 100% onsite.
