Customer Service Rep, Bilingual, HelpDesk/Support, Spanish Customer Service
Trans Core (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Dover, Delaware.
Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor/Lead, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for quality service and providing accurate information to customers. The CSR will accurately open accounts, explain policies and procedures, and process payment information, ensuring service requirements are protected and accounted for in accordance with set standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist customers with the account opening process.
- Accurately explain the terms/conditions and policies/procedures relating to the account.
- Process account payments and perform cash out process at end of shift.
- Consistently meet or exceed performance goals to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Perform account maintenance, including account changes, adjustments, and statement requests.
- Contact customers for additional account information.
- Assist in problem correspondence as required.
- Prepare reports including CSR Daily Activity report and cash out report.
- Respond to incoming phone inquiries regarding E‑ZPass accounts, violations, and DMV.
- Communicate business rules, policies and procedures governing violation processing.
- Review violation appeals process with appellants.
- Receive incoming phone calls and chat requests regarding DMV services.
- Communicate business rules, policies and procedures governing DMV services.
- Perform administrative functions, including image review and violation lookups.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work variable schedules between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm M-F and Sat 8:00‑2:00 pm.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 0–1 year of related experience.
- Bi‑lingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong communication skills: ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence; present information to customers, clients, and coworkers.
- Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide two‑digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and measurement.
- Reasoning ability: apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
- Physical ability: regularly sit; occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Variable shifts will be required to support business operating hours. Extra and irregular hours may be required due to temporary and/or unforeseen work demands.
Job ComplexityWorks on assignments that are semi‑routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
SupervisionNormally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is normally moderate noise level.
