This is an on‑site internship role for a Graduate Hall Director, located in Muncie, IN. The Graduate Hall Director will oversee the daily management of a university residence hall while fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming living environment. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring resident assistants, addressing student concerns, promoting residence life programs, and ensuring adherence to campus policies. The role involves collaboration with university staff and students to enhance the overall residential experience.
Qualifications- Leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage and guide resident assistants
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and decision‑making skills
- Event planning, organization, and program development experience
- Understanding of student development theories and practices in residence life
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive community environment
- Relevant experience in residence life, student affairs, or a related field is preferred
- Enrollment in a graduate program at Delaware State University is required
