Postlethwait Middle School is currently seeking an Additional Support Paraprofessional for the current school year to support the the individual IEP, programming and instructional needs of an existing student.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who currently hold or are eligible for an Instructional Para educator Permit are encouraged to apply.
To qualify for a State of Delaware Instructional Para educator permit, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and achieve a passing score of 459 or higher on the Para Pro Assessment (ETS Para Pro)
- Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of "C" or better in each course (final approval of accepted credits is determined by the Delaware Department of Education).

- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
