Special Education Teaching position for the 2026 Summer School Program supporting Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs
.
Individuals who are eligible or possess a Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities teacher certification are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply online. Applicants must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Special Education.
Applicants external to the Caesar Rodney School District will be hired as temporary, casual/seasonal employees.
Program Dates & ScheduleSummer School 2026 will be held from July 7, 2026 - August 3, 2026. The program will run Monday - Thursday only. NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS.
- There will be two Teacher In-service Days:
July 6, 2026 (full day) and August 4, 2026 (half day).
- CRCWP Student Hours - 8:00 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m. - CRCWP Staff Hours - 7:45 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m.
Lunch and planning determined by CWP Administration.
SalaryIndividuals will be paid $39.36/hr and will be paid only for hours worked. Temporary, casual/seasonal employees are not eligible for leave or other benefits.
Pre-employment Requirements- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, an updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I‑9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
