We are seeking a self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with an interest in marketing and sales.
The CORE Coordinator (Creating opportunity through real life experience) position is essential to the success of hundreds of students across the state. Through networking, generating employment leads to extensive business development and working with teachers, our CORE coordinators secure opportunities for the next generation of enthusiastic and well-trained professionals.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:- Network and develop new and existing employer relationships
- Visits schools monthly to guest speak on student opportunities
- Work closely with JDG teachers to launch possibilities for students
- Track and analyze partnership performance to drive improvement
- Track essential program needs and outcomes to ensure student success
- Develop and manage employer partnerships to create pipelines for student internships, job shadowing, and employment opportunities
- Generate leads and identify job opportunities, connecting students with real-world experiences
- Representing JDG as a guest speaker at events, career fairs, and community engagements
- Drive student success through data, tracking program outcomes and preparing monthly performance reports
- Problem solve to address challenges proactively to ensure partner satisfaction
- Communicate effectively to ensure collaborations are impactful
- Strategic planning to ensure partner engagement

About Us:Leading the way since 1978, Jobs for Delaware Graduates, Inc. (JDG) is a school-to-work readiness program, dedicated to helping youth reach their full potential. With focus on academic and economic success, our program exposes middle and high school students to emerging careers and higher levels of education and training. Students who participate in JDG receive weekly in-class instruction, credit towards graduation, leadership development, community service, personal enrichment, career coaching, access to internships, job shadowing, and work experiences.

- Create and develop employer relationships
- Maintain and manage partnerships
- Represent the organization at chamber events, job fairs and [through] in-person networking
- Collaboration with JDG teachers and Student Outreach Coordinators
- Identify job openings and internships and communicate opportunities to teachers, Student Outreach Coordinators, and students
- Job shadowing, workplace tours, and internships
- WBL (Work Based Learning) opportunities
- Prepare monthly reports of new business development and student engagement
- Coordinate and manage field trips, guest speakers and immersive activities for students
- Prepare internship documents and work one-on-one with students during their internships
