Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver standards-based curricula in English Language Arts and Social Studies.
- Create instructional resources and engage in co-lesson planning with partner teachers.
- Drive student achievement through creative lesson plans and organized classroom procedures.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Participate in professional development activities and collaborate within Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
- Build strong, positive relationships with the diverse community of students and their families.
- Passionate about working with elementary school students through a student-centered, whole-child approach.
- Motivated to inspire students and driven to improve instructional practice.
- Creative and collaborative team player.
- Committed to the principles of social justice and equity in education.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Delaware Teaching License and Certification in Elementary Education (K-6) with a focus on Spanish, in accordance with 14 Del.
C. § 1531. - 1-2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level, preferably in a language immersion or bilingual program.

- Initial, Continuing or Advanced Delaware Licensure
