Elementary Art Education Teachers (2) - locations to be determined

Terms of Employment: 10 Month employee (temporary if hired after contractual start date)

Reports to: Building Principal

Salary: Current teacher salary schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible to hold a State of Delaware certification as an Art Teacher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To develop in each pupil an appreciation of art education.
• To help with the selection of/and recommend materials, equipment and instructional aids for the program.
• To communicate with staff and parents on pupil progress.
• To cooperate with the school administration in providing an art education program for all students.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and differentiating lessons to meet diverse student needs preferred.
• To follow school policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
