As a key member of our faculty, you'll report directly to the Administration and play a crucial role in creating an exceptional educational experience. . You'll design and deliver grade-level appropriate learning experiences that captivate students through active learning, hands-on application, and rich discussions. Utilizing both formal and informal assessment strategies

You'll collaborate closely with a supportive team to develop shared lesson plans
, establish measurable goals for student achievement, and contribute to a positive school culture. You'll also actively participate in professional learning communities and attend development opportunities to continually enhance your skills. Instilling a strong independent and collaborative work ethic in your students will be key, preparing them for future success. You'll maintain accurate digital grade books and communicate regularly with parents, fostering strong home-school connections regarding student progress.
Ensuring a safe and organized environment is also a critical part of this role. You'll take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities, and assist administration in implementing school policies. This includes maintaining order in the classroom and overseeing paraprofessionals and volunteers when applicable. You'll continuously strive to improve your professional competence by attending meetings and serving on staff committees as required.
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all required educational plans and school policies will also be essential.
- Responsible for scheduling and facilitating all Gifted meetings (Reviews and Staffing Eligibility).
- Develops Educational Plans.
- Provide teachers with copies of plans and ensure Receipt of Plans is signed.
- Create Logs for documenting services and ensure they are being completed per the Educational Plans.
- Conducts Gifted Screening Assessments.
- Provides professional development to school-based administrators and teachers as related to requirements of Gifted.
- Monitors the student record system to ensure that appropriate information is kept current and organized in student record folders as related to Gifted.
- Responsible for scheduling and facilitating all 504 meetings (Reviews and Eligibility).
- Develop 504 Plans.
- Provide Accommodations Logs to all teachers to document accommodations provided.
- Ensure teachers are completing all required input forms prior to meetings.
- Provide teachers with copies of plans and ensure Receipt of Plans is signed
- Provides professional development to school-based administrators and teachers as related to requirements of Section 504.
- Monitors the student record system to ensure that appropriate information is kept current and organized in student record folders as related to Section 504.
- Work collaboratively with MTSS Coordinator and school based MTSS Leads to obtain MTSS packets for any scheduled CST Meeting.
- Scheduling and facilitating CST meetings with parents, administrators, and educators to make recommendations based on MTSS data to determine if evaluations are warranted.
- Follow-up with parents when requests are made.
- Monitors the student record system to ensure that appropriate information is kept current in student record folders as related to CST Meetings held.
- Perform the duties of being an LEA for IEP meetings with the Speech Language Pathologists and/or the ESE Teachers at the assigned schools.
- Ensure that all requirements are met for the meeting being held and that the paperwork is properly filed in the students cumulative file (Yellow DEES folder).
- Assist with procedures that must be followed after the conclusion of the meeting (organizing and filing documents, schedule updates, J-Screen, etc.)
