Make a difference for students by providing part-time psychological services during the upcoming school year. This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on conducting approximately three evaluations per month, with most assessments being initial evaluations. You'll support educational teams by identifying students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs, helping chart the path for individual success.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Graduate degree from an accredited School Psychology program
  • Experience with student evaluations, particularly initial assessments
  • Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams and families
  • Familiarity with special education law and compliance
  • Organizational skills to manage a steady evaluation caseload
  • Previous experience in school settings is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments, with a primary focus on initial evaluations
  • Interpret data and write clear, actionable reports
  • Collaborate with educators and families in meetings to discuss findings and recommendations
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
  • Offer guidance on intervention strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
