Elementary Special Education Teacher

Major George S. Welch Elementary School is currently seeking a full-time Elementary Special Education Teacher for the  School Year. This role may be offered on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on departmental needs and the timing of the hire.

Qualifications:

Individuals who are eligible or possess Elementary and Special Education certification are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply on-line. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

Salary:
In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

Pre-employment requirements:
Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation. All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test. Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
