Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated School Psychologist on a full-time contract assignment. This opportunity near Dover, DE offers the chance to work closely with a supportive educational team focused on creating an inclusive, positive learning environment. You’ll play a key role in evaluating students, collaborating on intervention strategies, and fostering growth for young learners.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state-issued School Psychologist certification or eligibility
  • Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective student support plans
  • Experience with diverse student populations and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and determine student needs
  • Support the development and implementation of effective interventions and IEPs
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation to address students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Engage in data collection and progress monitoring to inform instructional strategies
  • Promote positive outcomes for students through proactive support and advocacy

This contract position is full-time with 37.5 hours weekly, working primarily onsite with the possibility to discuss some hybrid flexibility. You’ll work with an engaging elementary caseload in a role that not only supports student success, but also continues your own professional growth.
