21st Century Community Learning Center Site Coordinator

The 21st Century Community Learning Center (21

CCLC) Site Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, compliance, and instructional coherence of the after-school and summer learning program at Central Elementary School. This position serves as the primary site-based administrator for the grant, ensuring fidelity to federal and state requirements, effective staffing and scheduling, accurate data collection, and high-quality programming aligned to student academic and enrichment needs. This is a temporary, grant-funded position contingent upon continued funding.

The current grant is active through the  school year (3 years).

Hours:

29 hours per week (12:30 pm – 6:15 pm) Monday–Thursday Friday one or two times per month

Summer Programming: 8 weeks total 4–5 weeks of summer programming Planning hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (as scheduled)

Compensation: $42.65/hour during program hours $29.15/hour for professional learning and training

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Operations, Data, and Compliance:

Manage daily program operations, including attendance tracking, student enrollment, transportation coordination, and dismissal procedures. Maintain accurate student data systems and ensure timely, complete reporting aligned to DOE and district requirements. Complete and submit all required grant documentation, compliance artifacts, and monitoring materials. Support program evaluation processes and maintain records necessary for audits, site visits, and grant renewal.

Staffing, Supervision, and Scheduling:

Oversee the interview, selection, onboarding, and supervision of 21

CCLC staff. Organize and facilitate staff training, planning, and coaching sessions. Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and program quality. Provide ongoing support to staff to ensure reliability, preparedness, and alignment to program expectations.

Instructional Quality & Student Engagement:

Ensure the program environment promotes student participation, enthusiasm, positive interactions, and academic success. Coordinate academic and enrichment activities aligned to school-day priorities and student needs. Schedule, select, and facilitate enrichment opportunities, special events, and student showcases.

Family, Community, and Partnerships:

Serve as the primary liaison for community partners and enrichment providers. Support family engagement activities and communication with caregivers. Coordinate partnerships that expand academic, recreational, and wellness opportunities for students.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support summer planning and programming coherence. Assist with field trips, special events, and extended learning opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or District Leadership in support of the 21

CCLC program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Preferred:
Delaware teaching certification, Paraprofessional Certification and State of Delaware Licensing Minimum Preferred:
Experience with tutoring, 21st century programming, and after-school programming Demonstrated ability to manage data, supervise staff, and maintain compliance with grant requirements
