Job Description
Civil Engineering Project Manager
You will work on innovative, multidisciplinary design projects for high‑profile state agencies and municipalities in the Delaware area. You will manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting while working closely with our team engineers, designers, and other technical experts.
Responsibilities- Duties include the creation of proposals, scheduling, and budgeting on energy projects.
- Interact with client stakeholders and coordinate workload with existing design staff.
- Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor/vendor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
- Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards and driving customer value.
- Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns, and manage engineering resources within budget.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution.
- Devise innovative and creative solutions to problems encountered.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- 7+ years of related experience, including 3‑4 years of project‑related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
