Civil Technician

Civil Technician Basic Function

Develops design and technical solutions under the supervision of engineers.

• Perform CAD drafting of engineering designs
• Apply sound knowledge of engineering principles
• Assist with development of design concepts

• Knowledge of site planning, storm and wastewater management, road design, and traffic studies
• Strong personal, organizational, and time management skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and work with a group and on an individual basis
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-8 years of experience in Civil Design
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
