Kleinfelder's Delaware team is seeking responsible candidates for highway design for transportation projects under the guidance of an experienced project engineer or project manager. The successful candidate will perform engineering tasks in the transportation and highway engineering field, applying relevant design criteria, standards, and processes. The candidate will work on multiple design projects and assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction, as well as construction cost estimates.

Location:

In-office position at Dover or New Castle, DE.

• BSCE from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
• EIT Certification Preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micro Station, and Inroads or Geopak.
• Experience with project delivery for State Agency Transportation Departments.

• 0 to 3 years of design experience in the highway transportation field. Relevant internship experience or college coursework will be considered.
