Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Traffic Analysis, Traffic Design and Traffic Safety Sections
- Assist Senior Program Manager with Business Development and Marketing for Traffic Engineering Service Line
- Manage traffic engineering tasks through application of relevant design criteria, standards and processes in order to develop traffic control device recommendations
- Manage traffic data collection, and a wide range of traffic engineering studies including but not limited to traffic impact studies and traffic operational analyses
- Develop project budgets, prepare technical proposals and overall management of projects
- Review designs performed by others for the purpose of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC)
- Apply the principles in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) as well as interpret and apply applicable federal, state and/or local standards and processes
- Develop support information and applicable deliverables
- BS from ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- A minimum of 12 years of hands‑on experience in the traffic engineering field
- Project Management of Traffic Design and Analysis projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
Experience:
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Registration (PTOE)
- Experience working on DOT and Private projects
