Senior engineering authority for complex wastewater permitting within Delaware's Division of Water. Provides expert technical review of major infrastructure projects, leads wastewater treatment and disposal initiatives, and supports permitting modernization through development of technical standards and guidance. Offers technical leadership and mentoring to engineering staff while coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies on critical infrastructure projects.
Key qualifications:- Valid Delaware Professional Engineering License or equivalent from US state/territory/Canada
- At least 5 years of experience in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of engineering project management experience including planning, scheduling, and coordination
- 1 year of experience in Environmental or Water Resource and Protection field
- Valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked, or disqualified)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
