Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Healthcare Finance Decision Support Manager to lead cost accounting, financial planning, and decision support initiatives in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with STRATA Jazz
, healthcare forecasting, budgeting, and service line profitability analysis.
- Manage the STRATA Cost Accounting and Decision Support systems.
- Perform service line profitability analysis and publish monthly P&L reports.
- Develop financial feasibility models, including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analyses.
- Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Prepare reports for audits, regulatory agencies, and executive leadership.
- Train leaders on productivity reporting and decision support tools.
- Oversee financial software implementations and support the STRATA forecasting module.
- Mentor the Decision Support team and provide leadership on financial initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of healthcare finance, cost accounting, budgeting, or decision support experience.
- Hands-on experience with STRATA Jazz or STRATA Decision Support software.
- Healthcare or hospital finance experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and service line profitability.
- Previous management or leadership experience.
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related field).
- Healthcare or finance certifications.
- Experience with hospital reimbursement, physician compensation, bundled payments, and healthcare contracting.
