Title: Emergency Medical Technician – EMT
Pay Rate: $20.50 – $27.50 per hour, based on experience.
Location: Dover, Delaware
Employment Type s: Full‑time and Part‑time
Schedule: Night shifts available; must be able to work night and weekend shifts. 12‑ and 10‑hour shifts, several start times available.
Pay and Bonus
Incentives:
$5,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time; night shift differential; overtime pay opportunities; referral bonus opportunities (refer EMTs and/or Paramedics).

Responsibilities- Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
- Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24‑hour clock; work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
- Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co‑workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
- Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.
- Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH).
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
- Prepare and submit a pre‑hospital patient care report.
- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned.
- DE State EMT‑Basic Certification (required).
- Valid Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving history and acceptable driving record.
- Valid CPR Card for the Healthcare Provider.
- Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) certification for driving positions.
- Ability to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more.
- Successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test.
