Phlebotomist - PRN

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at S State Street in Dover, DE. This is a casual/per diem position with variable hours that may include weekends.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required specimens.
• Accurately enter patient information into the system in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan.
