Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Dover, Delaware. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the Assessment and Referral Services (ARC) department, focusing on hiring, training, and professional development of team members.
- Ensure departmental effectiveness through adequate staffing, smooth admissions processes, and strong internal and external relationships.
- Act as substitute for the Assessment and Referral Services Director as needed.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance performance of the ARC department and improve patient experience.
- Manage intake calls and conduct clinical assessments, document essential information and maintain accurate records in electronic systems.
- Masters in Social Work or related field.
- Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LSCW, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Preferred behavioral and chemical dependency experience.
