Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality primary medical care without regard to ability to pay. The behavioral health counselor at Westside provides counseling with an emphasis on prevention, working with individuals and groups to promote optimum behavioral, mental and emotional health. The behavioral health counselor may help individuals deal with issues associated with addictions and substance abuse;
family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; self-esteem; and aging.
Working at Westside means working in a primary care medical home. A primary care medical home is not a special building. It is a way to provide healthcare that puts the patient at the center of health care decision-making.

Core responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or a related healthcare, social science or human services field
- Delaware licensure in a counseling field (i.e., licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor of mental health, licensed associate counselor of mental health)
- One year of social work and behavioral health experience
