Shift: Variable Salary Range: $35.31 – $54.73 hourly General Summary
Under the direction of the Site Manager and CT Scan Supervisor, demonstrates competency and actively functions in CT/General Radiology procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepares the procedure room and patient for all studies. Properly disinfects all equipment after each patient. Disposes and replaces dirty linen after each patient. Monitors patient flow for efficient daily operations.
- Educates patient regarding the ordered procedure, answers related questions, obtains patient history and written consent for exam, verifies patient information, checks for appropriate ICD‑10 codes, and uses patient safety screening/consent forms.
- Performs procedures in accordance with established protocols, positions patients, selects appropriate equipment based on age and physical capabilities, monitors patients, notifies the radiologist of reactions or problems, assists radiologists when necessary, and minimizes patient discomfort.
- Demonstrates competency on all general diagnostic imaging equipment in CT and ensures quality images before releasing the patient by reviewing or sending images to the PACS system.
- Assumes responsibility for portions of the quality assurance program as directed by equipment vendors and maintains competence with HIS, RIS, PHS, and PACS.
- Runs a pending work report daily to ensure all exams are properly charged.
- Maintains adequate supplies, stocks the room at the start of each shift and throughout the day, monitors supply needs and par levels, and reports items below par level.

Associate Degree - Education:
Radiologic Technology - Credential(s):
Basic Life Support;
Medical Radiologic Technologist;
Registered Technologist;
Radiography CT Tech competency‑based orientation within 90 days. - Experience:
1 year of radiology experience, or new grad completing an accredited CT program. Preferred: CT Scan experience.
If RT (CT) is held, CT CBO is not required.
Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience- Credential(s):
Registered Technologist, Computed Tomography. If RT (CT) is held, CT CBO is not required.
