Our team provides a wide range of services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, feeding therapy, mental health counseling, early childhood education, and nutrition counseling. Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our growing team. This position offers flexible opportunities to work in a variety of settings based on your interests and strengths. Available settings include:

  • Daycares
  • Clinic-based environments

While you are not required to work in all these settings, we are happy to tailor your caseload to match your preferences and areas of interest.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate sensory, motor, feeding, and emotional regulation needs in pediatric clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, emotional regulation, and overall independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Engage in family-centered care practices, involving parents and caregivers in the therapy process and providing resources and support as needed.
  • Specialize in areas of interest, such as feeding therapy, sensory integration, or emotional regulation, based on individual career goals and client needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapy programs, including our highly regarded feeding program.
Qualifications:

For Occupational Therapist (OTR):
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in Delaware.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.
