Travel Physical Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Dover, Delaware starting 07/27/2026. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments and creating evidence‑based treatment plans.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
• Physical Therapy experience (new grads welcome)
• Additional certifications or licenses as required

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Operate specialized equipment safely and maintain calibration.
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management.
• Maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
• Collaborate in discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

• PC and written instruction proficiency.
• Physical abilities: stationary stance, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, bend.

• Mental: cope with frequent public contact, manage deadlines, work under close supervision as needed.
