- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
- Physical Therapy experience (new grads welcome)
- Additional certifications or licenses as required
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
- Operate specialized equipment safely and maintain calibration.
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management.
- Maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
- Collaborate in discharge planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication.
- English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- PC and written instruction proficiency.
- Physical abilities: stationary stance, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, bend.
- Interpersonal skills: positive attitude, professionalism with diverse personnel.
- Technical motor skills: fine manipulation, assist with procedures and equipment.
- Mental: cope with frequent public contact, manage deadlines, work under close supervision as needed.
