Position: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator ( LNHA )

Excelcare at Newark is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a commitment to quality resident care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

Located at 4949 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19713.

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and customer service
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care operations
  • Lead, mentor, and support department managers and interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor facility budgets, financial performance, and operational goals
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes staff retention and professional development
  • Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives are effectively implemented
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and community partners
  • Support census development and maintain strong relationships with referral sources
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Qualifications:
  • Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state of Delaware
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey processes, and reimbursement systems
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations, budgets, and staff effectively to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a commitment to quality resident care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
