Universal Health Services - - Responsibilities:
Analyze patient charts for the correct ICD-10 code and enter the final diagnosis in the patient billing system;
Print dictated reports from the transcriptionist service and retrieve discharge charts from all units daily;
Work with Business Office and Utilization Review and educate staff regarding coding changes;
Participate in Precyse Medicare Quarterly Audits and maintain a high accuracy target (95% or above);
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of patient information
