Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Dover, Delaware. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery.

• Evaluate patients’ conditions using tests, examinations, and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment and modalities safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
• Participate in discharge planning and other assigned duties within scope of practice.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Existing PT experience; new graduates are welcome.
• Additional certifications or licenses as required.

• Critical thinking, service‑excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, lift 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.

• Technical skill to perform fine manipulation and use equipment.
