School-Based Physical Therapist Ashland , Tennessee

Job Description

Minimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' gross motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges and promote optimal participation in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
• Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and training to students, teachers, and staff
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Tennessee state license or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of educational systems and laws related to special education
