Porter, Mindil Casino Resort

The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Porter to join the team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for all guests arriving at the hotel. This role is key to ensuring a personalised guest experience throughout their stay. We are looking for people who can provide exceptional service, assist guests with their needs, and maintain the highest standards.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Assist with luggage handling, storage and delivery.
• Guide guests to their rooms, explaining amenities and services.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Recommend dining, entertainment, shopping, tours and sightseeing options.
• Assist with valet parking, organising airport transfers and taxis.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, entrance, and baggage areas.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• 6 months of experience as a Porter or in a similar role.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Knowledge of Foxtel entertainment system desirable.
• Valid Manual NT Full C-Class Driver’s license is essential.
• Commercial passenger vehicle licence (H endorsement) or willingness to obtain if successful.
• Ability to work across a 7-day roster including evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays.
