The Director, Leadership and Organizational Development leads forward‑thinking development and organizational strategies to support attraction, retention and growth of team members, and collaborates on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB) and Health Equity initiatives. The role partners with stakeholders to provide strategic, professional and managerial support for system-wide DEIB initiatives, offering mentorship, data analysis, and program design to build an equitable, sustainable and engaged workforce.

• Lead, direct and manage all aspects of leadership and team member development, understanding business, culture, engagement and talent needs.
• Design and implement high‑impact organizational development solutions, coaching, program facilitation and relationship management.
• Manage engagement surveys and post‑survey action planning, as well as onboarding and exit surveys to improve workplace culture.
• Develop and deliver innovative training and development methodologies across multiple formats and locations.
• Oversee analytic‑based goals, metric‑based reporting and data analysis to inform strategic programming.
• Partner with the business to define strategic objectives and talent development/succession planning needs.
• Support talent acquisition by applying assessment tools such as Hogan.
• Lead operational change management to sustain organizational health during changes.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications on recognition and celebration programs.
• Create an integrated service delivery model through leadership, training and organizational development.
• Manage the program budget and contracts, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a strategic DEIB/HE plan aligned with system goals.
• Implement Bayhealth’s DEIB curricula and programming.
• Work with HR, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to recruit, retain and engage diverse staff.
• Build trusted relationships with the team, provide career support and actionable feedback.
• Serve as a stakeholder in support of department‑wide Health Equity Initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a business‑related field.
• No credential required.
• Five years of progressive experience in strategic leadership development and workforce management; prior supervisory or director‑level experience.
• Experience in talent acquisition, workforce strategy, organizational development, and change management.
• Proven track record implementing enterprise strategic workforce planning.
• Ability to lead high‑performing, action‑driven teams.
