CDL Recruiting Follow-Up Specialist - Candidate Retention & Hiring Progress
Truck Driver Nation is seeking a Recruiting Follow-Up Specialist to help keep qualified CDL applicants engaged throughout the hiring process.
Truck-driver recruiting often requires multiple conversations before a candidate completes an application, submits required information, schedules orientation, or makes a final decision. This role is focused specifically on making sure promising candidates do not disappear from the recruiting pipeline.
WHAT YOU'LL HANDLE- Follow up with active CDL applicants at appropriate recruiting stages
- Reconnect with candidates who have incomplete applications
- Confirm upcoming calls, interviews, and recruiting appointments
- Track outstanding candidate requirements
- Document each contact attempt and applicant response
- Update recruiting status and next follow-up dates
- Escalate qualified candidates who are ready for placement
- Maintain professional and consistent candidate communication
- Strong follow-through
- Excellent organization
- Comfortable phone and written communication
- Ability to manage time-sensitive candidate tasks
- Ability to maintain accurate notes and follow-up dates
- Customer service, recruiting, scheduling, or transportation experience is helpful
- Comfortable working independently in online systems
