Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client's team as Application Analyst. Under direct supervision, the Application Analyst is responsible for working with other analysts and technical staff to conceptualize function and data structures and create functional specifications to meet customer expectations. Responsible for coordinating between Information Technology and customers all aspects of information systems to ensure that existing and future systems facilitate and enhance quality and regulatory requirements.

Provide ongoing professional support for a designated suite of applications. This includes planning, implementing and organizing activities related to enterprise-wide application selection, deployment and optimization on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments. Responsible for providing hardware, software and application support.

Job Description
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in providing ongoing professional support for a designated suite of applications including planning, implementing and organizing activities related to enterprise-wide application selection, deployment and optimization on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments
  • Apply advanced knowledge of information technology methodologies while leading, guiding, and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation and execution of applications and technologies.
a. Application Analyst II will be responsible for projects with complex scope that require integration across several different software modules and or applications.
  • Works with other analysts and technical staff to conceptualize function and data structures and create functional specifications to meet customer expectations
a. Assists in modifications to existing functionality

b. Assists in troubleshooting efforts and formulates interdisciplinary "task force" groups for multi-application or multi-platform troubleshooting efforts
  • Demonstrates accountability and collaboration as a team member by working successfully with internal and external clients.
a. Presents ideas and instructions clearly, verbally and in writing using appropriate presentation tools as needed.

b. Practices reflective listening skills

c. Demonstrates courteous, timely, and professional approach in dealing with clients and co-workers.

d. Follows up with clients on unresolved problems

e. Participates in formal and informal training activities and trains end-users.

f. Assists in leading design sessions with end users
  • Assists with analyzing trends and helps create, develop and maintain performance goals and regularly report results and outcomes to management team as required
a. Utilizes emerging technology research and presentation of findings to management and end-user community
  • Monitors and tracks highly detailed and multiple complex projects. a. Plans and works on joint projects, and coordinates with others to achieve objectives. b. Serves as a member of multiple project teams.
  • Adheres to IT guidelines and procedure relevant to job responsibilities.
Skills Required
  • EPIC Cadence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Understanding of company and user community in the application assigned area. Understanding of Population Health concepts and company's goals to incorporate them into systematic solutions. The ability to probe information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built.
  • Proficient in MS Office business products
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Clinical Database software
Education/Training/Certifications
  • Associate's degree, Prefer Bachelor's Degree

Pay Rate
  • $48-56 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
