Position: Field Criminal Research Analyst - Full Time - Wilmington

Field Criminal Research Analyst - Full Time - Wilmington

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

Our organization is seeking a Field Criminal Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and collecting specific criminal, civil, property, and corporate documents in Delaware and accurately reporting the findings to various Mohr Information Services clients.

The candidate will train in our Dover, DE location for 3 months or until fully trained before beginning work in Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct court research online and/or onsite at local courthouses and other government offices.
  • Search and retrieve criminal, traffic, civil, judgment, lien, property, and corporate records based on the client's needs.
  • Compile and decipher findings into concise, accurate reports using multiple platforms and formats.
  • Ensure complete accuracy, proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all reports and data collections.
  • Meet time deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client and Company information and ensure proper destruction of confidential documents.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in criminal research, title abstracting, and corporate document retrieval would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the court system is a plus.
  • Experience in online information gathering including social media research is a plus.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Understanding of the judgment and garnishment process.
  • Must be able to travel to area courthouses and other Government offices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to edit work for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and punctuation is a must.
  • Great attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to produce work of the highest quality level.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently, multitask, and solve problems.
  • Strong computer and typing skills are a must.

Compensation:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
