PositionSummary
The RBS East Leader is a corporate enterprise role responsible for defining, evolving, and scaling Ralliant’s continuous improvement business system across Ralliant’s operating companies. This leader serves as a steward of enterprise continuous improvement capability—owning core business system tools end-to-end while working through OpCos and functional leaders to embed disciplined execution, strengthen operational rigor, and drive sustained business results.
This role sits at the corporate level and operates without hierarchical authority, requiring strong influence, executive presence, and systems thinking. Approximately half of the role is focused on enterprise business system ownership and continuous improvement capability development, while the other half is dedicated to targeted OpCo support—partnering with leadership teams on priority growth, productivity, and transformation efforts.
As a visible enterprise change leader, the RBS East Leader plays a critical role in shaping how continuous improvement is taught, deployed, and sustained across a newly formed and growing organization. This role offers significant exposure to Ralliant’s senior leadership team and is intentionally designed to build enterprise perspective, operational depth, and leadership capability in preparation for future General Manager, VP Operations, or broader enterprise leadership roles.
Responsibilities- Global ownership of one or more of the RBS Fundamental tools; with responsibility for benchmarking best practices to support the continuous improvement, evolution and teaching of the assigned tool.
- Design and deliver enterprise continuous improvement training, teaching, and coaching to build leadership capability and cultural consistency across Ralliant.
- Serve as a steward of business system standards while ensuring practical, value-driven application across diverse operating company environments.
- Embed continuous improvement into daily management, strategy deployment, and execution cadence, including disciplines such as leader standard work, daily management, structured problem solving, and strategy deployment.
- Lead executive-level problem solving, kaizen roadmap development, and targeted transformation initiatives aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Support high-growth operating companies by improving productivity, manufacturing strategy, and operational rigor through disciplined application of Lean principles, value stream thinking, and flow-based management.
- Facilitate enterprise-level kaizen events, including CEO- and executive-sponsored kaizen efforts, ensuring learning is codified and scaled.
- Establish meaningful measures of business system maturity and enterprise impact across growth, cost, quality, delivery, and engagement.
- Act as a role model for Ralliant leadership behaviors, demonstrating humility, rigor, learning orientation, and a bias for action.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
