Field Supervisor

Germ Slayers Cleaning & Maintenance Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Area Supervisor / Field Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations across multiple government facilities in Kent County, Delaware.

This role is responsible for supervising janitorial staff, conducting facility inspections, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and operational accountability.

The Area Supervisor will work closely with the Contract Manager and utilize our internal digital platforms, to monitor service performance, verify task completion, and resolve facility issues in real time.

This position is ideal for a candidate with commercial or institutional cleaning supervision experience who is comfortable managing multiple sites and teams.

Supervise janitorial staff assigned to multiple facilities across Kent County.

Conduct routine building inspections to ensure compliance with contract cleaning standards.

Monitor employee task completion through internal digital reporting platform. Train and mentor janitorial technicians on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and facility standards. Address service issues, deficiencies, and client concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.

Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and coordinate restocking when necessary.

Document incidents, corrective actions, and performance. Support staffing coordination including shift coverage and schedule adjustments. Maintain communication with the Contract Manager regarding operational performance and facility needs. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility security protocols.

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in commercial, institutional, or government janitorial services

Experience supervising janitorial teams across multiple buildings or facilities. Strong attention to detail and inspection skills ability to manage staff schedules and coordinate work assignments

Comfortable using mobile apps or digital reporting systems

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to work evenings or flexible hours as required

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass required background screening for government facilities

• Experience managing janitorial services in government buildings, schools, or healthcare facilities

• Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures and chemical handling standards
