This role is responsible for leading hourly teams, ensuring safe and compliant operations, and responding to situations that may impact product, people, or performance.

- May require evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs
- Lead, supervise, and support hourly employees to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
- Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure production or operational goals are met
- Serve as the primary communication link between operations, management, and support teams
- Monitor workflow, materials, equipment, and staffing to ensure operational continuity
- Enforce and promote safety, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
- Troubleshoot operational issues, address employee concerns, and elevate significant issues as needed
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, and productivity
- Prepare shift reports and provide input on process improvements
- Support onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of hourly employees
- Promote continuous improvement, teamwork, and employee engagement
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an operations or supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency or ability to learn Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and plant systems (e.g., ZPI, Metrics)
- Attention to detail and understanding of documentation and record control requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
