Production Tech II - 3rd shift

About the Role

Operate and support a fast‑paced production line, machine, or palletizer to help create high‑quality hygiene products. Follow clear specifications and SOPs while keeping the line running smoothly and efficiently. As a key part of the shift team, you will drive strong machine performance and deliver great results.

Schedule

Hours:

10:30PM – 7:00AM (3rd shift)

What You Will Do
  • Commit to Essity’s I Care journey, ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
  • Work within Essity safety standards, responsible for personal and others’ safety.
  • Run and monitor your machine to keep production flowing, making adjustments as needed using Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
  • Work closely with your Team Leader and skilled operators when support or guidance is needed.
  • Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication with the previous and next shift and all team members involved in running the machine.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
  • Ensure top‑notch product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting or blocking items that do not meet specifications.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Entry‑level experience (0–1 year) in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
  • Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently; ability to stand for long periods.
  • Quick learner.
  • Willingness to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends as needed or required.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay: $19.53 per hour + full benefits. Compensation increases after successful completion of on‑the‑job training.
