Community Relations Officer
As a Community Relations Officer, you will work closely with the Division's Community Relations Coordinator to support outreach initiatives, share agency resources, and strengthen public engagement throughout the State of Delaware. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, culturally aware, and comfortable interacting with diverse communities in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities include serving as a public-facing translator at community events, assisting with event coordination and outreach activities, distributing educational materials, and helping foster positive relationships between the agency and the public.
Evening and weekend availability may be required based on outreach event schedules. Travel to events will be required; access to State Fleet Services will be provided.
