Community Assistance Provider - Environmental Justice
The Environmental Justice Office at DNREC is seeking a Community Assistance Provider to support outreach and community capacity building in Kent and Sussex Counties. This is primarily a field position that will document neighborhood-based community institutions such as houses of worship, social service organizations, and small businesses. The Community Assistance Provider will identify and attend recurring community meetings, participate in neighborhood-based community events, and support the department's meaningful engagement efforts.
The position will also support EJO evaluation and coordination for the Community Environmental Project Fund.
